Sorry for the delay in the weekly post......

Firstly sorry for missing out last weeks post, I was away and therefore could not update the site. Secondly sorry again for missing out on processing the beautiful double figure rainbow caught by Mr Paul Holland of Leigh for last weeks fish of the week, sorry Paul! Right back to the fishing, although we still have plenty of fish rising thoughout the day they are starting to get much wiser and only choosing to take the better presented fly. So if you are wishing to fish a floating line you need to start making sure your leader is sunk and your fly lands with a bit of grace on the water, and have patience it sometimes be a waiting game with dries. There is no doubting intermediate lines are now starting to work better as the fish generally are dropping down in the water column to around the 6 foot mark, try skinny damsels, black fritzs and blue flash olives. This weeks fish of the week goes to Mr Roger Hope from Leyton Buzzard with a early morning buzzer caught double, the rainbow is he's new personal best...well done Roger! The approaching week is forecast dry with plenty of cloud and a bit cooler which is better as It will hopefully start the naturals again and bring the fish up higher in the water. Fish averages are 8 fish per angler at a average of 4lb 3oz.
