Massive stock clearence, double limits starts on Saturday 21st September.....

As from Saturday 21st September we are starting something we have never tried before at Pennine, double limits. So what does this mean, basically depending on the type of ticket you buy determines the amount of fish you can take home. So a 1 fish ticket doubles to a 2 fish ticket for £17.00, a 2 fish ticket doubles up to 4 fish ticket for £23.50 and a 3 fish doubles up to a 6 fish ticket for £34.75. This offer is for a limited time only and will run on both lakes thoughout the remaining days in September and though most of October. Right back to the fishing news, as always fishing in September is generally very good at Pennine due to the high stock levels and the abundant amount of natural fly life. Daddies are a very popular when fished near the far bank, also sedgehogs, shipmans and orange hoppers are all worth a go. Intermediate lines have produced well to olive fritzs, cats whiskers and black snake flies when fished around the 5 foot mark best areas for this is the dam walls. Fish of the week goes to Mr Chris Fowler from Liverpool, not the biggest fish out this week but due to the fact he caught it on a buzzer and the fact he supports Liverpool like me then he wins it!!!! Other notable catches were Mr Ken Jones from Runcorn with a rabbit caught double of 11lb, Mr Lawson Bedford with a 16 fish haul with the best at 14lb and Mr Paul Mason with a double of 14lb plus a 8lb and a 5lb brownie.
