Milder weather starts to tempt out the buzzers........

With almost a week of double figure temperatures behind us it's started to warm the surface water up a degree or two, therefore we are starting to get a more consistent hatch thats not just around lunchtime. By choosing your peg wisely and predicting the wind direction you will quickly find buzzers, bloodworms and diawl backs are almost a guaranteed tactic that will probably now start to out fish many of the lure pullers. That said the lads fishing black and green snakes and black blobs still are pulling plenty of fish from the bay area, although the fish have started to pull away from the spring they are still hanging around the neck part of the bay and up towards the life buoy. Fish of the week goes to Mr Gregson from Blackburn with a stunner of a rainbow caught on a white and yellow fritz fished from a sinking line. Angler of the week goes to Mr Andy Stone from Norden with a haul of 40 fish, with around 12 from platform 2 and the rest from the life buoy from the top lake.
