The great fishing continues........

Other week of great fishing at Pennine. With the fish remaining very high up in the water column due to the mild air we are currently enjoying buzzers, sedges and small dries have definitely been the trouts favorite meal. Floating frys and boobies have also started to get a result but the fish can get quickly tired of this pattern so it's best to keep changing the fly or your location. Snakes flies are back to be the favorite with the sinking lines with olive or black fishing the best at around 4 foot. Both cage areas are fishing well to sight bob methods with white buzzers or egg flies generally better fished within a 3 foot radius of the cage itself. Fish of the week goes to Mr Andy Viney from Consett with a bright double caught on his first cast of the day on a white and green bunny leach fished from a floating line. Plenty more of the silver rainbows you've loved are being stocked over the Bank Holiday weekend, thanks for all the praise and comments over the last couple of weeks it's great to get positive feedback from you guys :)
