Pleasant November weather keeps the fishing good.......

Mild temperatures are helping the fishing as the fishermen continue to catch very well, the bay area on the top lake is producing some good catches as is the life buoy. With fish continuing to be in the top 5 foot both floater and intermediate lines are working well, with olive damsels and black and green fritzs doing the best on intermediates and bloodworms and white buzzers on the floating lines. Egg flies are still producing excellent catches from the cages (mainly near the green pipe) when fished around 6 foot, with the best colour being white or target hotspot. Fish of the week goes to Mr John Passelow from Otley with a buzzer caught double, John ended up with a 3 fish limit of 23lb!! Angler of the week goes to Mr Peter Rodgers from Huddersfield, this is the second time he has got this award in a couple of months but with a catch rate of 31 fish in 4 hours you can see why. Peter caught most of his fish to damsels and cubana flies fished from a floating line from the life buoy area. This week produced 7 tagged fish, best being £50.00 won by Mr Ian Flecter from Urmston.
