The weather continues to look promising.......

Continued mild weather constantly improves the fishing on a daily basis, with a wide selection of patterns working well throughout the day. Black buzzers, floating frys and montanas are all working well on floating lines with also the chance of picking up a fish or two on cdc buzzers when the conditions are right. Intermediate lines have also worked well but not to deep, fishing in the 3 to 5 foot mark seems to be most prolific with green and white fritz, olive damsels and bloodworms. This week hot spots have been just in front of the cabin near the first bench on the top lake and on the lower lake in front of the house from the steps. Fish of the week goes to Mr Michael Vennard from Rochdale with a good looking rainbow caught on a cats whisker fished from a sinking line. Angler of the week goes to Mr Grenville Stretton from Todmorden with 23 fish in 4 hours to various buzzers and mini lures. The start of the late evening passes are going to be postponed a week or two until early May, but all the details will be announced as soon as the date in decided sorry for any inconvenience.
