Summers here!......

Not only is the weather hoting up the fishing is pretty hot too!...early mornings are still the best for the surface sport and as the day progresses fish generally move down the water column into cooler water. Floating fry patterns are an option when the fish are on the surface as they seem to be going of the beetle patterns, but remember fish in a ripple and always cast to the rising fish.....its generally feeding! Snake patterns remain good on sinking lines with Mr Ken Jones from Runcorn paying for a double bag limit and netted myself 6 fish for 30lb...great averages. Fish of the week goes to Mr John Salisbury from Macclesfield with a bright silver double caught on a buzzer fished from a floating line. Other notable catches were Mr Paul Davis with a 15lb rainbow caught on a diawl back and Mr Peter Holland from Leeds with a nice brownie weighing in at just 10 pound. Plenty more blues are ready to be stocked as well as the big stuff.
