Most anglers are making the most of the double limit bags......

The fridges and freezers of this weeks anglers at Pennine most be almost over flowing as the fishing has been superb, with the mix of cloud and sun and generally warmer nights the fish have been well up for it. Daddies are proving a good tactic when there is a ripple, often fished quick just below the surface. Buzzers are also fishing well with skinny black buzzers working best when fished with the breeze. On the sinking lines it's been cats whiskers, black or olive snakes and dawsons olive generally fished around the 5 foot mark, sometimes deeper when the sun is out but no more than 8 foot. Hotspots have been the life buoy on the top lake, casting towards the cages seems to be the best spot. Fish of the week goes to Mr Derek Sutcliffe from Skelmersdale with a daddy caught double fished from a floating line. Other notable catches were Mr Andy Stone with a 6 fish bag limit of almost 28lb, best being a 11lb brownie. Double limits are still running though out the next couple of weeks so make the most of the good weather and this superb deal.
