A bit of a tail of two half's........

Not sure if it was the violent storm on Saturday night or just a build up of the cooler nights but the fishing on Sunday was much better than previous days. Some anglers were back into the double figure catch rates which is a relief as I was beginning to wonder were all the fresh fish had recently gone. Tactics seemed to be more higher up in the water column more so when they was a hatch on, spiders and bibio's fished well when stripped across the surface with long pull's. Beetle's and buzzers also attracted fish when fished static with the ripple. On the sinking lines it was more the snake and zonker patterns with white and green working the best. Fish of the week goes to Mr Stuart Hamilton from County Durham with his second double in two visits, this one was caught on a zonker fished from a sinking line from the life belt area.
