Stormy weather upsets the hatches....

Shocking weather on Monday and Tuesday kills of the buzzer hatches and pushes the fish back down to around 6 foot, therefore intermediates have been the better option so that you can slow down the speed of your fly across the water. With the current wind directions it's pushed the fish into the corners of the lake with the cabin corner and the first bench area on the lower lake being the prime hotspots. Another spot is near the water fall on the lower lake with all the rain it always produces well to bloodworms and egg flies when drifted across the flow. Fish of the week goes to Mr David Dawson from Sheffield with a nice double caught on a hot tail damsel fished from a intermediate line. More of the squirmy's flies should be in stock by Thursday with a few more colour options available. Plenty more blues arriving this week for the Bank Holiday weekend and more doubles as always.
