Great fishing again at Pennine.......

Conditions have been great again with lots of natural fly life around for much of the day. While dries have worked well, buzzers have been prolific more so when fished as a washing line method. Blacks been the best colour and probably no smaller than a size 12, the point fly needs to be a cdc buzzer or a black beetle. The only problem with this method is the fact you will probably have multiple hook ups so therefore breakages are a issue. Regarding the lures olives, hot tail mini minkies and flash cats have all worked well more so for the bigger fish as they do tend to come more to the moving flies. Fish of the week goes to Mr Peter Rodgers from Huddersfield with a fin perfect rainbow caught on a black lure fished from a floating line. Plenty of more notable catches with another 11 doubles out over the passed 7 days with some anglers catching 20 plus fish a session. Plenty of doubles going in this week to replace the ones taken plus more of the nice 7lb fish you all love to catch and a sprinkle of blues in the mix.
