Weather continues to be kind.........

With the weather remaining fine the fishing continues to good with excellent catches to buzzers and skinny lures, but don't forget the old faithful egg fly if you are struggling!! Best tactics have been intermediate lines with skinny damsels and snake flies fished around 5 foot, please remember to use a low diameter fluro leader as the water is now pretty much as clear as it will get. Regarding floating lines these are best used after 10.00am when the air temperature creeps up a bit, and for this choice egg flies are a must when fished near the cages or in the bay area. Other patterns that will find you fish are black buzzers and bloodworms still fished in the 5 foot mark. Fish of the week goes to Mr Karl Forrester from Haddock with a personal best caught on a black fritz fished from a floating line. Angler of the week goes to Mr Geoff Marsh from Mancester with a brace of blue trout weighing in over 10lb and a return of another 15 fish in a 4 hour spell, mainly to damsels and orange fritzs. This week will see a bit of a clear out of doubles as we are making space for 2013 fish, look out for the next post to see if we find anything special.
