Amazing catch rates.....

The warmer days have produced some excellent fishing, washing line methods have worked the best as the fish have been up in the first couple of foot. Quill buzzers fished with a booby on the point have out fished most methods with Mr Dave Manning hitting 40 plus fish a session with 3 gold tags as well. Dries have been the next favorite with black beetles and shipmans buzzers fishing well but still try and fish where there is a bit of ripple as this makes a big difference. On the lures it's been white and green snakes, olive damsels and hot spot leaches not fished to deep but from a intermediate around 4 foot. Fish of the week goes to Mr Andy Spencer from County Durham with his personal best on his first ever visit at Pennine he caught the fish on a jack frost lure fished from a slow sink line. Double points on the gold tag competition all this week, so as the leader board starts to get congested at the top its a great time to pull away as a clear leader. There will be no updates on this web page for week or so as I have a few maintenance jobs to be carried out but the home page will still have the up to date Facebook pictures.
